A comparison chart that names competitors and cites its sources
Named rival brands get their own columns with real numbers and checkmarks, footnoted with the exact products compared and the literature cited.

What it is
The comparison table names the competing brands in their own columns, mixes hard numbers (grams of sugar, doses per day) with checkmarks for binary attributes, highlights the brand's own column, and footnotes exactly which competitor products were compared and which literature was cited.
Why it works
Naming competitors and showing the numbers is a confidence signal a generic "others" column cannot match, and the footnote listing the exact products compared is what keeps it credible rather than reading as a stacked deck.
How to test it
- Hypothesis
- A named-competitor comparison chart with cited sources will lift add-to-cart rate versus a generic others-column chart, by being both more specific and more credible.
- Primary metric
- Add-to-cart rate (product page sessions)
- Guardrail metric
- Support and legal complaint volume, since naming competitors raises the accuracy bar you must hold
