Label variant tiers by outcome, not just a spec number

Variants are labelled by the goal they serve (Immune, Digestive, Inflammation) instead of a bare number, so shoppers choose by what they want.

A variant selector whose options are labelled by outcome such as Immune or Digestive rather than only a spec number
Manukoraproduct pagecaptured Aug 2026source

What it is

The variants are labelled by the outcome they serve, not just a spec number, for example a lower grade as Immune, a higher one as Digestive and Immune, and the highest as Inflammation Support.

Why it works

A raw spec number means nothing to a new buyer and stalls the choice. Labelling each tier by the goal it serves lets a shopper choose by what they want rather than by decoding a number they do not understand.

How to test it

Hypothesis
Labelling variant tiers by outcome will lift add-to-cart rate by letting shoppers choose by goal instead of an unfamiliar spec.
Primary metric
Add-to-cart rate (product page sessions)
Guardrail metric
Return and exchange rate from wrong-tier purchases
